This stand mixer has a detachable power head so it doubles as a hand mixer, providing flexibility in the kitchen. With 225 watts of power, the mixer handles all cooking chores, including the stiffest cookie dough. It has six speeds, and when the going gets tough there's a power-burst button. Accompanying the mixer is a 4-quart glass bowl. On the stand, the bowl can be shifted from side to side with a lever, ensuring thorough mixing and providing space for easily adding ingredients. As a hand mixer, the power head has a bowl-rest feature to prevent dripping on the counter. In addition to traditional beaters, the mixer comes with dough hooks.
